A downloadable game
Bhaloidam is a successfully Kickstarted and independently-published tabletop storytelling platform inspired in equal parts by Umberto Eco's essays on semiotics, Russian (Organic) Formalism and Commedia dell'arte.
The name Bhaloidam is a modern portmanteau of three Proto-Indo-European words - bha meaning to tell, loid meaning to play, and dam meaning the tribe. Using Bhaloidam's individual brightly-colored and iconic game boards - called Lifewheels - to track your Influence upon a storyworld, you can explore any setting, any theme, any genre, you choose.
The original Bhaloidam handbook is freely available as a PDF by clicking the link below.
The new - as yet artless and in progress - handbook can be found on BitBucket here: https://bitbucket.org/branwenzak/bhaloidamv2.0
